Felix Nyikwagh (CEO): Felix has profound professional experience cutting across communications, business development and agribusiness sectors. Felix enjoyed an agrarian upbringing and was surrounded by plantations, poultry, rabbitry, piggery, cattle ranch, horses, goat pens, feed mill, hatchery, and vet clinic on the campus of Akperan Orshi College of Agriculture, Yandev, Benue State. He was involved in farming activities across various crops and livestock for domestic and commercial purposes.
As a teenager, Felix regularly joined his father (then a lecturer/expert in agricultural extension and management) in setting up multimedia equipment and logistics for agro shows and extension activities. He had stints at Gateway Television, Abeokuta; Good Shepherd Newspaper, Abuja and Papel Image Tech., Abuja. In 2018, Felix co-founded Agriwaves TV, a digital television for promoting innovations, nutrition programming and providing information on business opportunities in agriculture. Felix holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts of the Benue State University, Makurdi and a Master’s degree in Theatre Arts (Film and Media Studies) from the University of Ibadan. Felix is a member of Young Professionals for Agricultural Research and Development (YPARD) and Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Network.
Abraham Achirga (Director, Business Development): Abraham grew up in a farming community in Gboko, Benue State and was active in family farm activities in Benue State from childhood. As a young adult, he engaged in maize and cassava farming to support himself through school. He was a Pension Officer at Pension Alliance Limited from 2007 to 2008. He was a content producer at Papel Image Tech Ngr, Abuja, before joining Reuters News Agency as a TV Producer, a position which gave him a firsthand understanding of pressing socioeconomic challenges and food security concerns in sub-Saharan Africa. Some of his farm stories made editor’s choice.
He has been a Media Consultant to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and UNICEF where his focus has been on content creation, advocacy and development communication in the areas of nutrition, health, sanitation, water and housing. Abraham’s undergraduate research thesis in Economics at Bayero University, Kano focused on economics of livestock production in Benue State. He is also the Founder of Surefarms Limited with major holdings in piggery and has been involved in agro commodity trading for a long while.
Anyalewa Ugbabe (Director, Operations). Trained at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria with a Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, Anyalewa loves interior décor, fashion and farming. She is the current Benue State Chairperson of Bambara-nut Producers, Processors and Marketers Association of Nigeria and also member of National Fish Association of Nigeria (NFAN). She has worked at Teamwork Global Associates, Kaduna; Enviplan International Limited, Kaduna and Zeal & Kharis Network Limited, Abuja in different professional capacities. She has years of experience in food commodity trading across Nigeria.
Onoja Friday(Technology Operations). He has wide experience in finance and communications technology where he has functioned as videographer, and content developer. He also demonstrates brilliant skills in Graphic Design and Visual Effects and has consulted for many local and international organisations. Friday is also proficient in business development. He is a graduate of Statistics and Computer Science from University of Agriculture, Makurdi. Friday had a stint in the banking sector where he played many roles.
Richard holds a BSc in Animal Production from the University of Agriculture, Makurdi. He has been involved in livestock production and consultancy services for over 8 years.
He holds a BSc in Seed Science and Plant Breeding from the University of Agriculture, Makurdi. He has worked at Olam Nigeria, Nasarawa State as an Agronomist and was involved in farm management, soil sampling, pest/disease/weed control and all processes of production during the period. In this role, he also coordinated administrators, field staff and research project leaders. Isho later joined Omega Agritech Ltd as Agronomist/Farm Supervisor and had been mostly involved in rice production, amongst other crops.
Chinedu is a graduate of Computer Science, Benue State University, Makurdi. He has over five years’ experience in web development and application designs. He has consulted for many organisations in the areas of software design, web management and communication technology.
